Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 59th birthday on Saturday with an event attended by his fans, who captured and shared clips from the celebration on social media. One video shows Khan cutting a three-tier birthday cake on stage as fans sing “Happy Birthday.”
True to his lively spirit, Khan also joined fans in dancing to some of his hit songs, including “Badshah O Badshah” and “Jhoome Jo Pathaan,” with fans enthusiastically dancing along.
In a candid moment, Khan discussed parenting and shared insights he’s learned from family life. Reflecting on his children’s unique challenges and needs, he commented, “The more children you have, the more patience you develop!” He added that this patience, along with love and care, is something he applies to his work as well.
A special moment occurred when a fan named Celia, who traveled from North Carolina, called him a global star. Khan responded warmly, stating his goal of taking Bollywood worldwide. He said, “Language is no longer a barrier with OTT platforms. We need more original, heartfelt stories, and I am trying my best to reach a global audience.”
Continuing his birthday tradition, Khan waved to fans from his balcony at his Mumbai residence, Mannat, although this year he skipped the iconic pose. However, he later shared a photo on Instagram with fans in the background, captioning it with gratitude: “Thank you for making my evening special… my love to everyone who came for my birthday.”
His wife, Gauri Khan, also shared moments from a private family celebration, with SRK cutting the birthday cake alongside family members, including his daughter Suhana.
