Marvel Shoolini International Media Fest 2026 to Bring Together 200+ International Participants from 10+ Countries at Shoolini University

The School of Media and Communications, Shoolini University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, is organizing 4th edition of the Marvel Shoolini International Media Fest 2026 from September 28 to October 1, 2026. The four-day international festival will bring together 200+ international participants from more than 10 countries, creating a vibrant platform for media, creativity, cultural exchange and international collaboration.

The fourth edition of the festival is expected to witness significant international participation, particularly from Bangladesh, with 130+ students representing several leading universities. Delegations are expected from institutions including the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Jagannath University, Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), University of Chittagong, Daffodil International University, and several other universities.

The festival will provide participants with opportunities to compete, collaborate, learn and exchange ideas through 14+ exciting media and creative events. The event portfolio will include competitions and activities in areas such as News Anchoring, Photography, Documentary and Film Making, Short Video Making, Declamation, Stand-Up Comedy, and several other media and communication disciplines.

Speaking about the fest, Prof. Nishtha Anand, Dean Faculty of Media and Liberal Arts Shoolini University, Fest Director, Trustee and Director of Marketing and Communications, Shoolini University, said, “We are looking forward to welcoming students and guests from different countries to Shoolini University. We aim is to give every participant the best experience and create an environment where creativity, learning and cultural exchange come together. We are also excited to take our international guests to Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh and one of India’s most popular heritage and tourism destinations, allowing them to experience the region’s culture, heritage and diversity.”

The fest is designed not only as a competition platform but also as an international cultural and academic exchange. Participants from different countries will have the opportunity to interact with peers, faculty members and media professionals while experiencing the academic environment and natural and cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh.

Highlighting the events of the fourth edition, Dr. Nisha Kapoor, Professor-cum-PRO and Faculty Coordinator for fest, Shoolini University, said: “With 14+ exciting events, we are excited to create a memorable experience for all our participants. The festival will bring together students with diverse interests in journalism, media production, digital content, photography, filmmaking, public speaking and entertainment. Through its competitions, interactive activities and cultural engagements, the event aims to encourage creativity, confidence, collaboration and responsible communication.

The Media fest is being led by Prof. Nishtha Anand, Trustee and Director of Marketing and Communications, Shoolini University, as Fest Director, with Dr. Nisha Kapoor, Professor-cum-PRO, and Dr. Ranjna Thakur, Professor, Shoolini University, serving as Faculty Coordinators.

The festival coordination team includes Sayed Al Hasan as Fest Coordinator and Brinda Bhaskar as Assistant Fest Coordinator, working alongside the university’s faculty, student teams and event volunteers to facilitate the international festival.

The Marvel Shoolini International Media Fest 2026 reflects Shoolini University’s commitment to creating platforms that connect young people across borders through media, communication, creativity and culture.

With participation from 10+ countries, 200+ international participants and 14+ events, the fourth edition is set to become a major international student media gathering at Shoolini University.

The festival will commence on September 28, 2026, at Shoolini University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, and conclude on October 1, 2026, following four days of competitions, academic and creative engagement, cultural interaction and an educational excursion to Shimla.
