The box office clash between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again continues to heat up as both films held strong in their second week. On the ninth day since release, Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again collected approximately ₹11.5 crore, while Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 surged ahead, earning close to ₹15.5 crore.
The Diwali showdown has highlighted a battle between Bollywood’s veteran action franchise and a fresh comedic horror series. Although Singham Again initially dominated with an opening weekend of ₹121.75 crore—starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and cameos by Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar—Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, featuring Kartik Aaryan, Madhuri Dixit, and Vidya Balan, started strong as well, grossing ₹106 crore. Since then, both films have been competing closely, with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 gaining an advantage due to steady weekend growth.
Audience turnout reflects this rivalry, as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 maintains a 36% occupancy rate in its second week, compared to Singham Again‘s 30%. Regional viewership also favors Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3; for example, in Mumbai, it held a 44.5% occupancy rate (across 801 shows), while Singham Again was at 38.5% (across 814 shows). In NCR, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 saw 34.75% occupancy with 1,060 shows, surpassing Singham Again‘s 25% across 906 shows. With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 building momentum, it seems poised to potentially surpass Singham Again in the domestic box office in the coming days.
