Author Promoting Bleach as Cure for Covid and Cancer to Speak at Trump’s Private Golf Resort

US President Donald Trump’s private golf resort in Florida will host Andreas Kalcker, a German citizen who promotes chlorine dioxide—an industrial bleach—as a cure for cancer, Covid-19, and autism, according to The Guardian.

Kalcker is among 50 speakers at the “Truth Seekers Conference,” organized by far-right commentator Charlie Ward, beginning Thursday at Trump National Doral Miami. The event will feature several anti-vaccine activists and conspiracy theorists.

Kalcker markets a product called “CDS” (chlorine dioxide solution), which he claims can eliminate disease-causing pathogens and has described as “possibly the greatest medical discovery of the last 100 years.” However, health authorities, including the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), have warned that chlorine dioxide is similar to drinking bleach and can cause severe health risks such as dehydration, diarrhea, and kidney damage.

Kalcker’s participation highlights the growing influence of dangerous alternative health claims during Trump’s second term. Trump’s controversial appointment of vaccine skeptic Robert Kennedy Jr. as head of the Department of Health and Human Services has further raised concerns among health experts.

Since Trump’s return to office, government censorship of scientific information has increased, with several public health resources removed, including FDA warnings about chlorine dioxide. Kalcker, who calls himself “Dr Kalcker,” promotes his bleach-based product as a cure for autism, Parkinson’s disease, and vaccine injuries, although these claims are unsupported by evidence.

Kalcker previously faced legal action in Argentina after the death of a five-year-old boy who was given chlorine dioxide. At the upcoming Trump Doral event, he is expected to sell books promoting his product.

Charlie Ward, the event’s organizer and an associate of Eric Trump, has a history of spreading conspiracy theories, including false claims about Covid-19 vaccines.
