Racism today can be seen in all parts of the world

Racism a word that is all too familiar to almost everyone today, so
what is racism all about? Racism in simple term means the belief that
different races possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities,
especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one
another.
Racism today can be seen in all parts of the world, does racism have
anything to do with education? Not really because it has so less to do
with being educated and so much to do with one’s own character,
with racism being so prevalent in cosmopolitan states, cases like the
2014 Nido Taniam an Arunachal student murder in Delhi, 2017 Mizo
youth assaulted over parking in Bangalore, two Naga students who
were brutally tortured for hours by local man in Gurgaon to simply
teach them a lesson that they don’t belong there.
If racism had to do with being educated, racism would not be seen
among the educated but taking into account of another case in
Bangalore of a first year college student from Arunachal who was
forced to lick the boots of his landlord because of a trivial matter as
excess use of water and the landlord was a lawyer by profession
which definitely dint make him uneducated , if being educated had
anything to do with stopping racism most of the racism would have
ended in colleges or different Institution but rather it is places like
those where people face more racism by being called names such as
Chinese, chinky and with these names getting more escalated after
the widespread of coronavirus in 2020. But instead it’s the
marginalised areas where more acceptance is there for every
community.
Is Hindi the only medium to being called an Indian? Or having small
eyes eliminate us from being an Indian, is the official documents not
enough to declare our nationality or are we still not Indian enough,
there are 28 states in India in which 9 states in India has Hindi as
their official language , so what about the 19 states in India whose
official language is not Hindi, are they eliminated from being an
Indian then why is it just the north east that has to do so much just
to prove that they are Indians? there is no fight for north east to be
accepted as Indians but a little acceptance, support and respect can
go a long way in racism losing its hold on a diverse country like India.
Racism is like ‘two sides of a coin’ where not just the north east but
even people coming from the main land suffer racism when they go
out from their own states and that’s a side no one writes about,
there is a good and a bad side of belonging to a completely different
culture or place , one side has to do with people being more open to
learning about your culture and there is the other side who sees you
as a threat to their community or as a complete outsider despite of
being in the same country. Racism happens mostly with the fact that
they have little to no knowledge about a certain community or state
or usually because of the low mindset of the people who thinks
treating people lowly makes them superior. Racism is like the term
what goes around comes around as you get the same treatment as
you treat others, Racism can be found everywhere today, if not fully
than even some bits of it but respect to all community despite of the
cultural differences, physical attributes and social status can bring a
lot of change among our own country
